What exactly do you do during a session?

We work through your accounts systematically — starting with your primary email (the master key to everything), then setting up a password manager, enabling MFA on financial, social, and phone carrier accounts, and verifying your recovery methods. You watch and participate the entire time, whether we're on a screen share or in your home. We leave you with a recap of everything secured.

Do you store or see my passwords?

No. You type every credential. We guide the process — we never type, copy, screenshot, or store your passwords. The entire model is built around you staying in control.

Who are your specialists?

OhanaSecure Certified Specialists are trained, background-checked individuals who deliver sessions under the OhanaSecure brand. Currently, sessions are delivered by the founding team — trusted, personally vetted individuals. As we grow, all specialists go through our full verification pipeline before their first session.

How long does a session take?

Core Lockdown sessions typically take 1–1.5 hours. Advanced Protection is 2–2.5 hours. OhanaComplete sessions are 2.5–3.5 hours depending on the number of accounts and household size. If we need more time, additional 30-minute blocks are available at $79 each — always discussed and agreed before continuing.

What is Lifeline™ and do I need it?

Lifeline is our monthly membership for ongoing support. After your session, digital threats don't stop — new breaches happen, scam tactics evolve, and sometimes an account needs to be re-secured. Lifeline means you can reach us directly when something feels off, instead of figuring it out alone. It's optional, month-to-month, and cancel any time.

Is remote as effective as in-person?

For Core and Advanced sessions, yes — virtually all the work happens on-screen, so a secure screen share is just as thorough. In-person is ideal if you’re less comfortable with technology, have a complex household setup, or simply prefer having someone physically present. OhanaComplete is always in-person because large, complex, and senior households benefit most from hands-on support.

Absolutely — OhanaComplete is designed for seniors and any household that needs the highest level of care. It’s always delivered in-person. We adjust our pace, use plain language, and make sure your family member leaves with a clear, printed summary they can refer back to. This is one of the most important things we do.
